This Is Cool: The One-Square-Meter House

Architect Van Bo Le-Mentzel designed and built the smallest house in the world. The DIY wooden house measures only one square meter; but through a flipping mechanism, it can provide a cozy place to sleep. As a former refugee, Le-Mentzel wanted to create a simple, affordable house that can go anywhere. His architectural design is ‘a house for everybody, a square meter of freedom’.
